Voice QSO Announcer

Pick the voice engine the toolbar 🔈 announcer uses for everyone on this server. "Browser" speaks in each listener's browser (works on the Pi); the neural engines render audio here and need to be installed on this host.

📟 Packet BBS

The automatic packet BBS (GI7NKK-1) — a polite, lowest-priority tenant on a slice. It identifies on a timer, yields to humans, and the operator always pre-empts. Transmitting is GATED: enabling RF here only arms the service; nothing keys until the operator is on-air. The browser Terminal/Server faces run OFF-AIR over a software loopback.

Message base & bulletins persist in cobras.db, so they ride the nightly DB backup (gzipped online backup + rsync mirror to the Pi). No encryption; sysop is responsible for store-and-forward content.
